Welcome To Corinium Academic Solutions (CAS)

We are an international educational consultancy specializing in teacher education and development. We are incorporated in the UK, with offices in Tewkesbury and London, but our core team of Consultants is based throughout the world.

We work with both individual and corporate clients and our courses combine a practical ‘hands-on’ approach with academic support. We have extensive experience in online and face-to-face teaching, teacher education and course development, supported by a strong research base. This allows us to identify potential problems and develop innovative solutions for areas of educational practice, and we understand why and how specific methods work in different contexts.

Our Courses (which are listed above) can be adapted or expanded based on client requirements. We also have a variety of more bespoke training options for corporate or institutional clients under Specialized Services

Our Knowledge and Skills

We are a team of international education professionals with extensive experience in a range of different contexts. Originally a British-American collaboration focusing on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Corinium Academic Solutions has grown and now offers both modular and bespoke training in the following areas which can be adapted to specific contexts:

  • Teacher education and professional development
  • Language teacher training courses (CAT, CSLT)
  • Training trainers to work with pre-service and in-service language teachers (CSLTT)
  • Teaching languages to Beginners and Young Learners
  • Early Childhood Care and Education (ECEC)
  • Wellbeing in schools: pastoral care for students and teachers
  • Observation and feedback training for the classroom

Where We Work

The Corinium team is spread internationally and has extensive experience of education-related work in a range of countries and regions, including Asia, Africa, North America, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

We have over 200 years of international practice between us, specializing in teacher education and development, with extensive experience of carrying out needs analyses and developing context-related courses. We are also able to adapt content according to the location and requirements of course organisers and/or participants. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has meant that most training was delivered online, although in-person training is becoming more popular once again. Course length can range from a few hours to a few weeks and is tailored to the needs of the participants and/or institutions. The quality of provision is maintained by incorporating ongoing participant feedback.

Who We Work With

Corinium currently works with companies, universities, schools and individuals and welcomes enquiries about our training courses and consultancies.

To provide a taste of some of the projects delivered, in addition to the courses described above, between us we have developed study programs and/or material for a number of key organisations since Corinium was incorporated. These include Qatar Foundation International, the British Council, schools in the UK and the Middle East  (such as Gulf Arabic Program  in Oman or Kings School in Dubai) and teachers’ organisations. We are constantly adding to this list.
